"People do stupid things-thats what spread HIV" quoted Elizabeth Pisani. She actually had HIV and she believe this quote is actually half true. She said that "some people do stupid things to get HIV and some people do rational things." What she mean by rational is that you were taught to do things to be prevented with an STD but you still go out there and do things unprotected. For example, such as sharing a needle and having sex unprotected. This help me with my idea for STD's prevention because it tells about how some people believe that if condoms were to be given out, then everyone will go out and have sex. But in actually, that is false. So this would be good to be able to point out how schools can give out protection.

Response To Quote "Do Now"

" The words of Martin Luther King Jr. The impact of this quote is that no one has started living until they are above the concerns of all humanity.

"Be the change you wish to see in the world."

In my perspective, I think this quote means if you want a change in the world, stand out. You don't have to fit in with everyone else. You can stand out and if people realizes you and likes the change, than you might later see the change you wish for in the world. Though, some of your wishes never comes true or you will not see. But if you was to tell what you want, maybe another voice out their had the same wish and you can work together. It's always good to let your voice be heard. So within this quote, "Be the change you wish to see in the world" , and let your voice be heard!

This article is confusing but seems a little understandable. From the reading I did, it tells about how Dr.Ackerman are trying to make a change to all schools with races. I believe that she just need to keep it they way it is, everything if FINE!

Reply To Haiti Video

I think the Haiti video was sad and it's hard to see the tribulation they had just faced. The lady in the video had a nice voice and so did the nurse. I just wish people could connect wit Haiti and give them some things so Haiti can go back to how it once was. I just hate seeing people down! So I hope in a few more years, Haiti would be reestablished!
